This fishing machine is a 32’ Holland, custom built in “2003” for charter fishing. She is diesel powered and loaded with the best electronics and the finest profesional fishing gear. All reels are Shimano and Penn matched with custom CMS rods. The Fortuna is a real fish magnet for Tuna and Shark. Fortuna is also the perfect fishing platform for Striped Bass and Bottom Fishing for Cod on Stellwagen Bank and the shoals of Cape Cod. Comforts include: bathroom, 2 bunks, plenty of inside seating for up to six passengers, a large deck and fly bridge for fishing and whale watching. U.S.C.G. Safety Equipped for Offshore fishing

Captain Greg Sears is the founder of Mass Bay Guides and is also a member of the Stellwagen Bank Charter Boat Association. He is a USCG licensed 100 ton Captain. A certified IGFA Captain. A certified Emergency Health Care Provider. A former USCG Boatswains Mate. A PADI certified Diver and has been fishing and diving in Massachusetts Bay and the Shoals of Cape Cod all of his life. Including spending time in the USCG at Scituate Coast Guard Station. His family has been fishing on Stellwagen Bank and Mass Bay since the 1600's.

Capt Dave Newell also grew up fishing in Massachusetts. Dave spent 8 years in the US Navy, he is a certified PADI diver. A member of the Stellwagen Bank Charter Boat Association and is an ace marine diesel mechanic. Capt. Dave keeps the FORTUNA in tip top running condition.

The Fortuna is available 7 days a week for charter fishing for all types of saltwater fish.

Your deep sea fishing trip will begin at sunrise. Most trips average about one hour out to sea and you spend around eight hours fishing. We can accommodate up to six persons per boat. Your trip will consist of catching Tuna, Shark, Striped Bass, Blue Fish, Cod, Haddock and Mackerel. As an added special bonus, you will see Whales, Dolphin, Basking Sharks and Giant Ocean Sunfish. Massachusetts waters are one of the worlds most abundant fisheries.
